Data Collection and Processing on Our Website
SSL/TLS Encryption: For safety reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content (e.g., inquiries via the contact form), our website uses SSL or TLS encryption.
Hosting by Vercel: Our website is hosted externally by Vercel Inc. (USA). When you visit our website, Vercel automatically collects server log files (IP address, date/time, URL, referrer URL, browser, operating system) to ensure secure, stable, and high-performance operation. Data transfer to the USA is based on Standard Contractual Clauses, the Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework, or corresponding guarantees under Swiss law.
Contact Form via EmailJS: Inquiries sent via our contact form (including name, email, message content) are stored by us and technically forwarded using EmailJS LLC (USA), based on a Data Processing Agreement and guarantees for international data transfers. Data is used exclusively to process your request.
Cookies and Web Analytics: We place great importance on privacy-friendly data minimization. No tracking cookies or external web analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) are used on our website.
Data Processing in Production Operations (Casting, Crew & Shoots)
As a film production company, we process data primarily within the scope of our operational projects:
Video and Audio Recordings (On-Set)
We process video and audio material featuring protagonists, actors, extras, or passers-by. This processing (creation, editing, storage) is based on contractual agreements, explicit declarations of consent (release forms / contributor contracts), or legally permissible overriding interests.
Application and Casting Data
If you apply as a freelancer (e.g., camera, sound, post-production) or within a casting, we process your data (CV, sedcards, showreels, contact details) exclusively to evaluate a potential collaboration. This data is deleted after the selection process unless you explicitly consent to being included in our internal talent pool.
Disclosure to Third Parties and International Transfers
In order to provide our specialized services, we may utilize third parties and transfer data to them:
- Post-Production: External specialists such as colorists, sound designers, or VFX artists who require function-related access to production data.
- IT Infrastructure & Cloud Services: Cloud storage and collaboration tools for data transfer (e.g., Frame.io, Dropbox, WeTransfer, SwissTransfer), hosting providers (Vercel), and form processing services (EmailJS).
- International Data Transfer: If data is transferred to countries without an adequate level of data protection (such as the USA), we ensure protection by concluding Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC), utilizing the Data Privacy Framework, or equivalent legal guarantees.
- Links & Publication: Our website contains links to external social media platforms and video services (e.g., YouTube, Vimeo, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok). When you click these links, you leave our website, and the privacy policies of the respective platform operators apply.
Your Rights as a Data Subject
Under applicable data protection regulations, you have the following rights at any time: Access, Rectification, Erasure (subject to statutory retention obligations), Restriction of processing, Data Portability, Withdrawal of consent (with effect for the future), and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Switzerland: the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner, FDPIC). Data Security
We take appropriate technical and organizational measures (TOM) to protect your data from loss, misuse, or unauthorized access: • Storage: Data is stored on local secured media and with selected cloud services (e.g., SwissTransfer, Dropbox, Frame.io). We select service providers carefully and ensure appropriate security standards. • Access Control: Access to raw material, project data, and customer data is strictly limited to persons directly involved in the respective production or administrative management. Security Note: Complete protection of data against access by third parties cannot be fully guaranteed technically.
Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI Clause)
We do not use personal data, video, or audio recordings of our clients or protagonists to train generative AI models (e.g., for Large Language Models or image generators), unless this has been explicitly agreed upon in writing and in advance for a specific project (e.g., for contractually agreed AI voiceover cloning).
Retention and Deletion of Data
We process and store your data only for as long as necessary for the respective purpose or to fulfill contractual obligations. Thereafter, data is deleted or anonymized, unless statutory retention obligations apply (e.g., the 10-year retention obligation for business records under the Swiss Code of Obligations).
